BEING A PROJECT ENGINEER
- PROVIDES SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE TO THE PROJECT MANAGER IN ALL ASPECTS OF PROJECT MANAGMENT
- PROJECT DOCUMENT ADMINISTRATION, SCHEDULING, JOB COSTING, SURVEYING, AND QUALITY CONTROL
- TASKS WILL CONSIST MOSTLY OUT-OF-DOOR WORK IN ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS
- 50 TO 60 HOURS OF WORK PER WEEK

RESPONSIBILITIES
- read and understand civil specifications and plan drawings
- prepare SUBCONTRACTS, SUBMITTALS, AND ESTIMATES FOR REVIEW
- SCHEDULE PROJECT AND RESOURCE ALLOCATIONS
- use instruments and autocad to complete layouts
- CALCULATE WEEKLY JOB COSTING REPORTS
- ESTIMATE AND VERIFY QUANTITIES COMPLETED FROM FIELD SURVEYS
- COORDINATE DAILY PROJECT COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN PROJECT MEMBERS
